Terms & Conditions

To make a booking we require a 50% deposit payable by card or direct bank transfer. Payment can be made via the online booking calendar, or you can contact us directly. By booking your stay with Fotheringhay Glamping you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Arrival

Our Shepherds Hut will be available from 3pm on day of arrival and must be left in a clean condition no later than 10am on departure day, unless by prior arrangement.

Departure

On departure, please leave the keys in the lock box on the side of the hut.

Cancellation By Us

Extreme conditions: Fotheringhay Glamping reserve the right to cancel your stay if for unforeseeable circumstances we are unable to provide safe accommodation in a shepherds Hut due to extreme conditions, Ill health, fire or administration or any other extenuating circumstances your full payment will be returned.

Cancellation By You

We understand that circumstances and emergencies occur. If a booking is cancelled before the three weeks prior to arrival the deposit will be refunded. Deposits will not be returned for cancellation within 24hours prior to arrival.

Breakages/Damage and Stolen Property

We do accept wear and tear, but should any significant damage or breakage occur during the period of your stay you will be held responsible for and must make good to the lowest market value. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning where a Hut has been left in an unacceptable condition, through waste, litter, interference in the structure etc. Please treat these huts as you would treat your own home. We have spent a lot of time and money making sure they are as comfortable as possible, and we would hate for them to be damaged and things to be taken out of them unnecessarily.

Children/Pets

No children or pets allowed on site. This is a working farm and therefore dangerous for children and animals to roam around.

Negligence

Guests will be held responsible for any fire, damage or alteration to the structure caused by negligence.

No Smoking Policy

We have a strictly No Smoking Policy here on the farm. You are very close to fields with crops in and in dry months we do not need field fires due to discarded cigarettes!

Maximum Occupants

Under no circumstances may the maximum number of 2 people sleeping in each Shepherd Hut be exceeded.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to anyone staying here or any vehicle or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Privacy Policy

Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer. With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party.
